Yesterday, I attended the day care unit at Darent Valley Hospital for a delicate operation.
My immediate reaction as I entered the hospital was one of pleasure. How nice it was, more of a hotel feel than that of a hospital.
I was very impressed with the courtesy and care I received from the staff who reassured me everything would be fine.
The surgeon did an excellent job and afterwards I was given toast and tea and allowed to rest before dressing again.
To my mind the staff and everyone connected with Darent Valley Hospital deserve nothing but praise.
I only had to wait some five weeks for my operation and I would not hesitate to return here.
