Motorcyclist killed in crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on a busy road.
Police were called at about 3.15pm today after a motorcycle collided with a car near the junction of Ditchling Road and Woodbourne Avenue.
Firefighters were also called to deal with oil spilled on the road.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. No further details have yet been released.
Traffic heading into Brighton and towards the A27 was held up as police worked at the scene.
