The hills were alive with the sound of music at the weekend as thousands of people enjoyed Brighton and Hove's first ever Beachdown festival.
Campers at Devil's Dyke woke up to glorious sunshine on Saturday and spent the afternoon and evening listening to the likes of De La Soul, Reverend And The Makers, The Magic Numbers and Brighton band the Maccabees.
It was a different story yesterday (Sunday) when revellers were greeted by torrential rain, misty conditions, and gusting wind, which threatened to blow away dozens of tents.
But despite the downpour, the chalk Downs soaked it all up and meant Glastonbury-style mud slides were nowhere to be seen, allowing people to dance the day away without being sucked into a filthy swamp.
