Fire crews have been called to several flooded properties during tonight's heavy rain.
The cellar of the Royal Oak pub in Chichester Road, Bognor, was flooded in two inches of water.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service went to the pub at 8.16pm the help pump the flood water out.
They also went to Bat and Ball pub in Wisborough Green when the outside area and kitchen flooded with water.
At 8.53pm crews were called to a property in Bignor Lane, Bignor, which had flooded and an elderly couple had to be rescued from their car after it became stuck in rising flood water on a road between Coates and Fittleworth at 8.39pm Firefighters helped to push the car away from the floods and the couple waited for AA assistance.
