S1 number plate to go under hammer

Comments (0)One of the most sought after number plates in the country is due to be sold in Sussex later this month.
Auctioneers believe the registration mark S1 will fetch £250,000 when it is sold at the Goodwood Revival festival, near Chichester, on September 19.
It belonged to a “pioneer” of motoring and was one of the first issued in Edinburgh.
