Baton wielding police clashed with protesters on Wednesday as an anti-arms demo erupted into violence.
Around a dozen people were injured as skirmishes flared during the demo - the latest in a series aimed at EDO, the Brighton-based weapons hardware manufacturer.
The main flash point occurred on Lewes Road, by the junction with Home Farm Road, as around 400 protesters came up against police.

A total of 15 million listeners - that's a quarter of the population - listened to Round The Horne in the 1960s.
When Brighton was a little fishing village, buffeted by great storms and pillaged by the perfidious French, Shoreham was a substantial settlement.
Some of the biggest names in digital media will be fighting to be named best in the business at a new awards ceremony.
