Flat fire in Worthing

Three people were treated for smoke inhalation after a ground floor fire in a block of flats.
Crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to St Botolphs Road, Worthing, at 6.40pm tonight.
A spokesman for the service said the large staircase fire in the three-storey building meant a lot of people had to stay in their flats while firefighters tackled the blaze.
The fire was put out at 7.30pm
