Football fans can pick up a bargain at an Albion collector's fair next month.

Brighton and Hove Albion Collectors and Historians Society stages its seventh annual Albion Collectors’ Fair in the hospitality suite at Withdean Stadium on November 23.

Visitors will be able to browse through thousands of Albion programmes, handbooks, pictures, fanzines and many other items of memorabilia.

Tim Carder, chairman of the society, said: “Our aim is to promote and preserve Albion's great history, and we are looking to establish a museum at the new Community Stadium when it opens at Falmer in 2011.

“This annual fair raises funds towards that purpose while giving supporters the chance to increase their own collections.

"We also include a live auction, which is always exciting and guaranteed to have a bargain or two.”

The doors will be open from 11am to 2pm, with the auction of Albion memorabilia at 1pm.

Admission is free and light refreshments will be available.

Anyone wishing to enter Albion-related items into the auction or wanting to hire a table to sell their own Albion memorabilia should call Tim on 01273 503810 or email tim.carder@virgin.net.
