Change has been afoot in the Peggy Sue camp recently. They’ve dropped “...and the Pirates” from their name and expanded from a duo to a trio.
Though the twin vocals of Rosa Rex and Katy Klaw are always stunningly beautiful, new drummer Ollie certainly adds strength to the songs.
Playing to a packed out home town crowd, the band seem delighted and performed a flawless set to a room teeming with floral dresses and smiles.
Sadly the sound was a little poor for Peggy Sue and their support bands, but the infectious quality of their songs and the power of their voices overcame this.
They’ve been on the brink of popular success for a long time now and already have a tour with Kate Nash under their belts, but never have they looked more ready to explode on to the mainstream.
