Graffiti vandals taunt police in Worthing

Graffiti vandals who have caused thousands of pounds of damage to a seafront are now taunting police by spraying: “Catch me if you can”.

They struck for a second time on Worthing seafront early on New Year's Day.

One sprayed “catch me if you can” and “ha ha” on the west side of the Pavilion Theatre just yards from a street surveillance camera.

They also daubed “happy new year”, “09” and “Flowz RIP” on the south-facing side of the Lido entertainments complex.

The vandals struck first on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, leaving a trail of crude tags with the names Trikza and Pawz.

The trail of damage extended from Windsor Road, East Worthing, to the Lido, with Beach House grounds especially badly hit.

Police have vowed to investigate.

Instead of slapping silly little fines on these vandals, they should be made to pay the full cost of repairs and made to clean graffiti every weekend for a year.

once caught, which they will be, these hooligans should be made to clean it all off with toothbrushes, whilst wearing dayglo pink jumpsuits. their parents must know who they are as they will have paint all over their clothing.

Im sorry but if Worthing had better things to do and legal walls just for graffiti they wouldnt be ruining other peoples propety. like i do it in brighton where you can do it without any hassle to practise. Theres nothing else to do, the aquarinas rubbish and homefield skatepark is full of druggies and tramps. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO.
