Graffiti vandals who have caused thousands of pounds of damage to a seafront are now taunting police by spraying: “Catch me if you can”.
They struck for a second time on Worthing seafront early on New Year's Day.
One sprayed “catch me if you can” and “ha ha” on the west side of the Pavilion Theatre just yards from a street surveillance camera.
They also daubed “happy new year”, “09” and “Flowz RIP” on the south-facing side of the Lido entertainments complex.
The vandals struck first on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, leaving a trail of crude tags with the names Trikza and Pawz.
The trail of damage extended from Windsor Road, East Worthing, to the Lido, with Beach House grounds especially badly hit.
Police have vowed to investigate.
