A24 closed after crash

The A24 was closed after an accident last night.
Police were called at 7.45pm after a car went into a ditch between the Buck Barn crossroads and Bar Lane.
The road was closed southbound at the roundabout at Southwater while emergency services worked at the scene.
A woman was freed from the car and taken to hospital but she was not said to be seriously injured.
The road was reopened at about 9.10pm
