Heather Mills to use vegan Mr Whippy at Hove cafe

Heather Mills is launching her own vegan version of Mr Whippy.

The former model will serve the dairy free alternative - named Mrs Swirly - at her new cafe, VBites, when it opens on Hove seafront on July 4.

Ms Mills believes it will be a big hit with youngsters.

She said: “When we were out I'd notice other kids got an ice cream and my daughter Beatrice would just get a fruit lolly and I thought I've got to do something.”

A true visionary.

Really, who cares?

Does the Argus now have a 'Heather Mills / Jamie Oliver Marketing & Promotion Department'?

Really looking forward to the opening and will support you all the way, just get rid of the noisy and anti social skate park and your customers will flood in, good luck controlling these idiots. great idea about the ice rink it is a scandal the council have let hove lagoon get into such a state with decaying pavillions and small lagoon. the more mature residents would like some of the tranquility brought back to the lagoon please.

The new windows and solar panel look great, shame about the supermarket colour scheme, on a lovely art deco seafront building surely a miami cool contemporary colour scheme would have suited better as achieved by pizza express and hotel du vin with their buildings. good luck

If it's soya ice cream, it can have a dry after-taste but is a great idea for dairy-intolerants who can't eat ice cream. This can be particularly difficult for kids who hate being left out or being made to feel different.

Didn't think I'd ever agree with Heather Mills but this is a really good idea - good luck to her.

People like you make my sick, how on earth can you describe the skatepark as anti social, have you seen the amount of kids that enjoy themselves down there? I personally find Heathers money grabbing antics and her delluded sense of self importance much more annoying than kids doing something positive.

And who exactly is forcing Beatrice to be a vegan?

Im not convinced the volume of vegans is there to make this viable Mr Whippy style personally. Selling the mixture online to make up & freeze yourself could be a better (additional) path.

Good Point bug-eye regards colour scheme. A hideous yellow (pillars) and green window frames...hope the food is in better taste! I will be surprised if this business lasts more than a year or two although I expect it will be heavily supported by the pretentious Hove brigade!!!

How come when I sent into the Argus a press release - zilch.
Drat should have married Paul McMartney - no - thats a grotty thought too.

I'm happy to give the vegan Mr Whippy icecream a try. If it's no good then I'm sure Mr Whippy could step in with his van. As for the skate park, it's clearly much loved and valued by it's users. Why are some people so negative about it? What are these kids / teens meant to do?

That last sentence is so tempting, I'm surprised by how few suggestions there have been!

Who cares about this woman, her Cafe Grot and her anything in fact. Stop publicising her. Who is going to support this venture? Not many locals I'm pretty sure.

Bug eye, what a complete c0ck3nd you are.
Where are these skaters suppoosed togo then?, everytime i walk down there, its full of kids doing what a skateparks is inteded for - skating, which, as much as you dont like it skating is considered a sport and needs facilitys.
People like you will always find something to maon about, if the park was located away from the lagoon, you would moan about the cost, you would find something, maybe you would rather these kids didnt postively channel their energy into skating and negatively channel it elsewhere.
get urself a life and stop being so negative, Support the kids for doing something with their time instead if just hanging around.
The mills restaraunt, well, i wish her all the luck with it, ill be trying it out while watching the skaters, i might even run outside and cheer them on - getin i cant wait

Don't rise to it, bug eye and steed are only after a free meal ticket, which strangely is what a lot of people think Mills was after when she married McCartney. I shall stick to my vegan favourite, cardboard!

Hi Heather!!
hahaha, Ur sooo far off the mark its un-true.

if u have alook around u will see i have been commenting on this board for some time, i mean u recon mills actual reads this or gives a toss what any 1 thinks or if her restaraunt succeeds or fails - what with skanking 10 mill from mcCartney (and rightly so, he an over hyped scouser anyways) im sure her life wont be any worse off if the veggy gaff folds within a week, and if i was mills, would i be championing the skaters?
Maybe with your massive powers of observation you should apply for a job @ the Argus

im begining to think the argus should pull its head out of heathers greedy bottom ,and maybe realise nobody gives a monkeys about the publicity seeking money grabbing old dog.
