Shoreham yobs take pot shots at cows with paint gun

Yobs shot cows with paintball guns in a field.

Police were called to Mill Hill, near Shoreham, shortly after midnight on Saturday night.

One of the group - who were reportedly shooting at cows - had been hit over the head with a paintball gun.

No-one was arrested.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Anything resembling a gun is going to cause alarm and distress to somebody and the police are going to become involved.”

a riveting story. how did one of the group come to get hit over the head with a paintball gun? did the cows fight back?

As you clearly said how did the Cows fight back the point is they didnt it was people being shot and we people faught back and it was the person being shot who also had the gas cylinder at the rear of the paintball gun rammed into his face and beaten twice on the floor.

I would like to know if the police are doing any thing about it,why was no-one arrested those paintball gun's are very painful and dangerous especially in the hands of mindless yobs I hope Spencer that you have given the police names

i must disagree with you there, it's the same where ever you live, you have just a hand full of people that think they can get away with mindless stupid act' shorham is a lovely place to live,don't forget these yob's were up mill hill, they could have come from any where portslade southwick mile-oak even worthing

Actually, it is rough. I live in Shoreham. Saturday nights are like Basra. Every weekend there is a sizeable punch up in either the crown, the bridge or the crab. The fact the crown have 4 bouncers and is supposed to be a normal pub says it all. its full of pikey scum and vilent chavs and quite frankly i'd like to move away.

I didn't mean to upset anyone, but considering it's a small place, I am really surprised at the level of violence and crime reported in The Argus in Shoreham.
