Diver with "bends" airlifted from boat off Brighton coast

A diver has been airlifted from a boat off the coast of Brighton after suffering from symptoms of the bends.
The 50-year-old woman was taken to a recompression unit in Poole, Dorset, by the coastguard helicopter after the alarm was raised.
Solent Coastguard said the dive boat, Channel Diver, was about nine miles south of Brighton.
