An automated phone system is being installed in the latest move to revive the King Alfred Leisure Centre.
Callers to the sports centre, in Kingsway, Hove, will be able to access information about opening times and activities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
They will also be able to redirect to the centre's staff and accounts department.
The system, due to start operating this week, is part of Brighton and Hove City Council's plans to invest in the centre, which had been under-maintained while plans were in place for a now-scrapped redevelopment. The number will be 01273 290290.
