A caretaker was left exhausted after he reeled in this fishy brute.

The giant catfish, weighing in at a whopping 190lbs, was hooked by holidaying Joe Price.

The 60-year-old of Courtenay Gate, Hove, said he was shocked to see the “enormous” fish head emerging from the water.

He added: “I have never felt so much power in all my life, it tried to pull me into the river five or six times.”

The 8ft beast, weighing as much as a professional wrestler, was one of five catfish Mr Price pulled from he river Ebro in North-East Spain.

The trip, organised by Catmaster Tours, was a sixtieth birthday present from Mr Price’s wife Anne.

Get it cooked up!

A PROPER delicacy when cooked right. Yummy :D

If you go to Tenessee it's as common to eat as cod is here.
