Former England captain Mike Gatting handed over a cheque for £51,000 to Bucks Cricket Board recently to spend on developing grass roots cricket.
The presentation to Bucks' Bob Judge was made at the Oval cricket ground on behalf of the Cricket Foundation, a charity set up to fund the development of junior and youth cricket.
The Bucks Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers (BACUS) will be resuming its winter training programme by running an umpiring course this autumn at the Totteridge Social Club in High Wycombe.
The course will last 11 weeks and be run on Mondays from 7.30 to 9.30pm, starting on October 1.
