Eastbourne Pier used for Brighton Rock filming

DOUBLE TAKE: Eastbourne Pier was transformed into a TV version of the Palace Pier today
Eastbourne Pier was today being used for filming of the new Brighton Rock film.
Cast and crew were spotted on Eastbourne Pier.
The story, originally set among the razor gangs of pre-war Brighton, has been transported to the 1960s and the clashes between mods and rockers.
The makers of Brighton Rock will be using locations in and around Eastbourne, including the pier, beaches, the bandstand and Beachy Head.
Filming will involve road closures on Wednesday and Sunday, and November 2.

What a great advert for Brighton when the filming has to be done in another town!!!!
