Residents are being asked to donate coats to make someone’s winter a little warmer.
Chiropractors Richard and Karen McMinn are offering a free consultations worth up to £130 to each person who donates a coat, hat or gloves until November 7.
The pair, who work at Chiropractic Life, in Portland Road, Hove, will donate the clothes to charity to help people stay warm during the cold months.
Mr McMinn, who has five children with his partner, said they know how hard it is to keep the family warm over winter.
He said: “An alarming percentage of our community from young to the old suffer during cold weather. With more of our population on the breadline than in previous years, we’re hopeful that with the support of the local residents we can make a difference in their lives by supplying hats, coats and scarves.”
The clothes will be given to Barnardos, Brighton Women’s Refuge, Street Smart for the homeless and Age Concern.
