Brighton children aged five explore Pop Art

Children have been exploring the world of Surrealism and Pop Art - from the age of just five.

At the Artroom Brighton youngsters of all ages have been creating works ranging from self-portraits to native American Indian ink drawings, as they are taught in the same way as teenagers.

Sebastian Dewing, a former secondary school teacher at Brighton College who set up the school, believes young children can learn about art in exactly the same way as older ones.

Artroom Brighton in Portland Road, Hove, was set up a year ago and now has about 100 children attending every week from all over Sussex.
