Police, fire and ambulance crews are in attendance after a three car smash on the A23.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said the accident happened at 2.30pm today at Pyecombe on the southbound carriageway.
Three people have been taken to hospital.
A Sussex Police spokesman said their injuries are not life-threatening.
