Sam Rents made a welcome return from injury for Crawley's home test against Conference leaders Oxford United at the Broadfield tonight.
The former Albion left-back returned after six games out with an ankle injury as boss Steve Evans made two changes to the side beaten 2-1 at Gateshead on Saturday.
Adam Quinn returned to central defence after serving a one-match ban with Eddie Hutchinson dropping to the bench against his old club alongside Peggy Lokando.
Ex-Reds Dannie Bulman and Jamie Cook both faced their former club in strong Oxford side with Cook lining up in a three-man attack alongside Jack Midson and on-loan Franny Green but top scorer James Constable was on the bench because of concern over a persistent back injury.
