Baby daughter for Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball

DJ Fatboy Slim and his radio presenter wife Zoe Ball have become parents for the second time.

Ms Ball, 39, gave birth to 8lbs Nelly May Lois Cook at 1.15pm yesterday.

A spokeswoman for the couple said: “Mum, Dad and big brother Woody are doing great. They are the happiest Mama and Dad in the world.”

The couple, who live in Western Esplanade, Hove, already have a son called Woody, nine.

The arrival of their new daughter means the couple's wish for a girl has been fulfilled.

@andygunner
Apologies. In my haste to upload copy it wasn't my best piece of written English. I've amended it now. Many thanks.

Woody and Nelly, these kids aren't really going to be taken seriously as adults are they?

Congratulations to the new parents of course. Also have you not remembered the money & publicity that Fatboy has given both to Brighton & Hove Albion, let alone the city, as well.

Stick up for yourself Mr Gurner. Less of the "thank you for your comments" nonsense. I can't stand people towing 'the customer is always right' line. Tell them to get knotted. Even if they have got a point, the condescending so and so's.

All these thoroughly sick people who take time and trouble to, not only read an article they describe as not newsworthy, but then write a 'comment' on it. What sad, pathetic lives you all lead, and what fine, upstanding Brighton citizens you are, not!
Fatboy and Zoe are very well thought of in, around and also well away from their home location, and I for one am extremely grateful to all the tremendous efforts made by Norman Cook in helping to put Brighton the City and Brighton and Hove Albion the football club on their respective maps.
Congratulations to the couple, the news of a daughter is simply the best.

Stories about the lives of celebrities in B&H is one example of how this once fine town has lost its true identity. "The place to be", "Artistic community", "Diversity".

All these so called new found virtues are false identities created by an outside clique (The London Plague!)who have poisoned the place with their claptrap.

No, B&H's true identity lies in its history not its celebrities.

Why the Argus still feels the need to call her Ms Ball when they report that she is married in the paragraph above, slightly confuses me. Surely if she is married, then it is Mrs Cook.

Since the days of the Prince Regent and Maria Fitzherbert, Brighton (and Hove)'s history has inevitably been tied up with its celebrities. Without celebrity 'endorsement' in the 18th and 19th centuries, we would just be another seaside town..
