Disabled Brighton man sold drugs from mobility scooter

A disabled man was caught selling heroin from the back of his mobility scooter.

Blundering Michael Davies, who has his name emblazoned on his electric trike, was nabbed after pushing hard drugs to undercover police officers.

The 44-year-old, who only has one leg, wept in his wheelchair as he was jailed for two-and-a-half years yesterday.

A judge told Davies, an addict since he was a teenager, that if it had not been for his disability and his guilty plea he would have got four years.
