A driver was being treated in hospital last night after crashing his car into a sandwich shop.
The man had to be cut free from his vehicle by firefighters after veering off the road and into Fillers, in Market Street, Lewes, shortly after 7pm.
He was treated by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No-one else was hurt in the collision.
