Having read your article Prepare For Snow Return (The Argus, January 19) about problems on the buses during the recent snowy periods, I thought I’d send you this picture and thank our drivers publicly for the sterling work they did getting the buses out despite the snow.
Fortunately our route is mostly flat so we managed to run our services more or less as usual, and it was lovely to meet so many new people – people who hadn’t used our buses before but came aboard as there were not many other options available to them.
I hope those who would normally have driven saw that travelling by bus is actually a sociable, enjoyable experience and will do so again to relieve the pressure on our clogged-up roads.
