Brighton pasty shop plans to help Haiti earthquake victims

Cornish pasties may not be a traditional Hatian food, but the pastries will be used to help earthquake victims.

Our Cornish Pasty Shop, in Queens Road, Brighton will be making pasties for Haiti all day tomorrow and handing over its takings to help 92,000 people living in camps near Port-au-Prince.

The shop said they had already received donations of time, stock and equipment to help their fundraising efforts and every penny take in the shop tomorrow will go towards Oxfam's Haiti Appeal.
