ALBION 8 - Aston Villa 0.
It is the scoreline that all Brighton and Hove Albion fans would have loved to have seen last Saturday.
The Argus can reveal that the dream has become a reality - a virtual reality anyway.
Because the dream scoreline didn't happen in the real world, but the world of computer game Fifa 10.
Gaming wizard Matt Bushell invited Argus reporter Richard Gurner to a game after taking part in a successful 24-hour Guinness World Record attempt.
Richard played as Aston Villa while Matt took the controls of Albion in a virtual re-match of last Saturday’s FA Cup clash.
Richard, who lost 8-0, said: “Matt told me afterwards that I hadn't played badly – I'd hate to see the scoreline if I had.”
Matt, from Angmering, near Worthing, took part in the successful record attempt in London on Wednesday as part of a team playing Fifa 10.
The 19-year-old said: “I'm a bit sick of the game. I think I'll take a good break from it now.”
