A man was hit by a train at London Road Railway Station today.
The man in his 20s, who has not been named, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital after he was struck by the train at around 3.15pm.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance service said he was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries and head injuries.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said they were not treating it as suspicious.
