Improvements at Patcham High School have been recognised through new CVA figures, helping the school into the top 200 most improved schools in the country.
Headteacher, Paula Sargent, was delighted to announce that the school has been named by the Department of Children, Families and Schools on the country’s most improved schools list.
The CVA (Contextual Value added) score for Patcham High School is now 1013.7, which is 9 points higher than last year’s score and well above the 1000 national average. This is the second year in a row the school has been above the national average. The CVA measures the progress of students from when they start school in year 7 to when they leave after year 11.
Mrs Sargent said, “This is a tremendous achievement and one of which we’re very proud. Congratulations to all our students and staff who have worked so hard to bring about this major improvement in our results.”
