A man killed while riding a high-powered motorbike was planning to exchange his bike for a new one.
Neil Tucknott, from Lancing, had ordered the new bike the day before he died when his blue Kawasaki collided with a car. The incident happened on the A259 in Albion Street, Southwick, at 5.13pm on Saturday.
In posts on Mr Tucknott's Facebook page, the 47-year-old said how he had bought the bike on Friday and was picking it up the following Saturday.
Yesterday Mr Tucknott's daughter Michelle, from Horsham, paid tribute to her father.
She said: "I will always love you dad and never forget you. My dad was a wonderful man and it's heartbreaking for everyone who knows him.
"You were the shining star in everyone's life and will be greatly missed by everyone."
Flowers to Uncle Neil were left at the scene. The tribute read: "Neil, we already miss you dearly, hope you sleep tight. Love you uncle Neil, love Daz, Selina and the boys."
The driver of the car, also aged 47, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless/ dangerous driving and has been bailed until May 17. Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 0845 6070 999.
