A teenage girl was seriously hurt when a motorcycle and a van collided in Portslade yesterday.
The 17-year-old from Shoreham was riding pillion on a Suzuki bike which collided with a silver Renault van at about 11.25am on Tuesday.
The crash happened on the A259 Wellington Road in Portslade as the van turned right into Brambledean Road.
The girl broke her arm and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. Her condition was not believed to be life-threatening.
The bike driver was slightly injured and the van driver, a 54-year-old man from Hove, was uninjured.
