Flaming car causes traffic backlog at A27 Shoreham flyover

A flaming car caused traffic backlogs at a busy junction.

Firefighters were called to the A27 flyover in Shoreham about 3.30pm today.

A vehicle was on the slip road which leads to Shoreham village.

The blaze, which is believed to have been accidental, was extinguished by about 4pm.

Officers from Sussex Police were in attendance to help with traffic control.
