Hove man denies rape charge

A 32-year-old man has denied supplying a woman with drugs and raping her.

Midhat Ramzi, 32, of Rowan Avenue, Hove, appeared at Brighton Crown Court accused of raping and sexually assaulting the woman in April last year.

He is also said to have supplied her with cannabis and cocaine.

Ramzi denied all charges. He was released on bail until July 5.

Ramzi was subsequently acquitted of rape, but convicted of supplying cannabis and cocaine.
