A shopkeeper who was stabbed while tackling robbers has thanked the public for their support.
Mo Shah, of Preston Foods, in Preston Drove, Brighton, was stabbed in the arm after chasing two youths who had stolen tobacco from his shop.
The 30-year-old has been inundated with messages of support.
He said: “I have had more than 40 letters from people and about 20 bouquets of flowers.”
Two boys, aged 13 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and causing grievous bodily harm and released on bail while police investigate further.
