A schoolboy is in hospital after being knocked down on his way home from school.
The 14-year-old, who has not been named, was struck by the vehicle in South Farm Road, Worthing.
He was on his way home from Worthing High School at around 3.20pm.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene.
The boy was taken to Worthing Hospital with minor injuries including a fracture and a possible dislocation.
The driver was not arrested and police are investigating possible pedestrian error.
