Virtual band the Gorillaz will play an intimate gig in Sussex next week.
The Old Market, Hove, has been chosen as one of only six venues in the country to host the exclusive event.
Tickets have only been made available to members of the Gorillaz fan club – G-Club - and have already sold out.
The gigs are band rehearsals ahead of the group's April headline at US music festival Coachella.
A statement posted on the Gorillaz website said: “Gorillaz will open up rehearsals to audiences around the UK ahead of their headline show at Coachella in April.
“These are band rehearsals only – it will not feature full Gorillaz production. Only subscribers to the Gorillaz fan club (G-Club) are eligible to buy tickets.”
The Clash's Paul Simonon and Mick Jones will join Damon Albarn, who co-created the Gorillaz, to take the rehearsals on the road.
Staff at the Old Market, in Upper Market Street, have known about the gig for a while but were under a strict embargo not to tell anyone.
The venue, which can take a maximum of 500 standing guests, is expected to be at full capacity when the gig takes place next Thursday.
