TWO teenagers had to be rescued after the lift they were in got stuck.
They were on their way to see friends at a tower block in Brighton when the lift broke down between the ground floor and first floor.
Crews from Roedean fire station winched the lift up to the first floor at Swallow Court, Albourne Close, Whitehawk, at 9.30pm last night.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the teenagers were trapped inside the lift for about 20 minutes.
