Ever wanted to walk in the shoes of a world renowned musician for the day?
A Sussex charity is offering people the opportunity to step into them any day they like as they sell-off shoes owned by Elton John - as long as they are a size eight or nine.
AIDS charity The Sussex Beacon is selling dozens of items of clothing donated by the musician, famed for his extravagant outfits and spending habits, and his partner David Furnish.
The singer, real name Reg Dwight, has decided to sacrifice the garments through the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF), which he founded in 1992 and which has to date raised more than £100 million.
The Beacon will hold an exclusive two day sale in April at its recently opened store in George Street, Hove.
The charity's haul includes 100 pairs of shoes, 38 jackets and 28 shirts. Items will be on sale for prices ranging from £20 to £1,000.
Even more valuable items donated will be sold on eBay as the Beacon expects some items to raise thousands of pounds.
The collection reads like a Who's Who of the fashion world with clothing by Chanel, Prada and Versace included in the unique sale.
The clothes will go on sale on Friday April 2 from 10.30am to 6pm and on Saturday April 3 between 9.30am and 5pm.
The charity says that it cannot guarantee that every item in the sale has been worn by the Rocket Man singer or Mr Furnish.
