Fire scare at charity shop

AN electrical fault caused a fire scare at a charity shop.

Staff at the Oxfam shop in Blatchington Road, Hove, rang 999 after smelling smoke this morning.

Crews from Hove fire station arrived on scene just before 10.30am.

They used a thermal imaging camera to check for hidden hotspots inside the shop but found none.
