Eastbourne Borough defender Ben Austin is set to a specialist over his troublesome knee injury.
Although able to train, Austin still feels pain when he strikes a ball and has not played since the FA Trophy clash with Hastings United at the end of November.
Borough coach Nick Greenwood: "Ben is still struggling and may have to see a consultant. he can do everything bar strike a ball so the ligaments in the right knee are obviously not right somewhere."
Borough's match with Newport Isle of Wight tomorrow at Priory Lane is unlikely to go ahead due to the heavy rain
