Is the new procedure for selecting secondary school places fairer than the old one? I suspect the answer depends on where you live.
It certainly isn't fairer if you live in Elm Grove, Hanover, Kemp Town or Queen's Park.
Unless you have a child who already attends another secondary school, the only school you can be guaranteed you will be offered is Falmer.
