Horsham scraped into today's draw after a 3-2 win at Erith Town.

The game was held up for 45 minutes when Erith captain Paul Springett broke his leg in two places after he challenged Hornets' Eddie French for the ball during the first half.

Two Gary Charman goals twice put Horsham in front, but Erith levelled with John Hogarth getting a spectacular goal from the halfway line to make it 2-2.

But Lee Carney converted an 82nd-minute penalty after a foul on Andy Walker and boss John Maggs felt his side were worthy winners.

He said: "The delay seemed to knock us out of our stride a bit and I was glad to win it at the first attempt. We deserved it."

Trialist Neil Davis came off the bench to score a last minute wonder-goal and give Bognor a 4-3 win against Cirencester at Nyewood Lane.

Midfielder Davis, who has signed temporarily from Eastleigh, smashed home a 30-yard drive in injury time to snatch the win after the visitors had come from 3-0 down.

Kevin Murphy gave Rocks an early lead with a long range effort and Ben Watson made it 2-0 after just 11 minutes with a close range finish.

Cirencester appeared to have been killed off when Bognor were gifted a third thanks to a mistake from former Swindon 'keeper Fraser Digby, but the visitors hit back to set up the grandstand finish thanks to goals from Mike Jackson, Gary Wooton and Graham Hopkins.

Lewes manager Steven King was devastated after his side's shock 2-1 exit to Wessex League side Brockenhurst.

Jason Lovell seemed to be in an offside position when he scored in the first half and Paul White added the second from the penalty spot after a foul on Jay Lovett. Barry Moore pulled one back as Lewes dominated the second half but they couldn't grab an equaliser.

King said: "Defeats like this destroy you as a manager because it was a game we should have won. They were not particularly good and the referee was a disgrace.

"I don't normally like blaming the referee but this guy made two crucial decisions and they scored from both.

"The first goal was a mile offside - everyone could see it - and the second was not a foul in a million years.

"I can't say the referee cost us the game because we didn't play well in the first half, but he cost us the two goals."

Eastbourne Borough twice threw away the lead to lose 4-3 to Sutton United at Priory Lane.

Two goals in eight minutes just before half time from Stuart Tuck and Scott Ramsay put Borough in front after Craig Watkins had headed Sutton ahead after 20 minutes.

Sutton equalised 11 minutes after the interval through an own goal from Stuart Playford, but Ramsay restored Borough's advantage from the penalty spot after being been pulled back. Andy Martin levelled on 67 minutes from a Watkins cross and the two players combined again four minutes later to win the game for the visitors.
