Paul Samrah's Falmer For All campaign is, of course, a complete misnomer.
It is purely Falmer for football fans. Not Falmer for walkers, not Falmer for cyclists, not Falmer for riders and not Falmer for the people who live and work there.
We all know there are other more suitable sites that do not require the loss of downland countryside. Falmer is just a quick, cheap option to get the Albion and Brighton and Hove City Council out of a problem of their own making.
Norman Baker was speaking for what he believes is right, not for what he thinks will get him the most votes.
