Withdean 2000 can take a huge step towards claiming the title when they host AFC Wallingford at Withdean Stadium tomorrow.

A tremendous run has seen Withdean win 28 games on the trot outside of the FA Vase and 14 consecutively since their Vase exit.

Chief executive Alan Pook said: "It is a huge game. If we win, it will make us hot favourites to win the league. Up until two weeks ago it would have just helped us to get promotion.

"We have still got 16 league games. I have worked out that AFC Wimbledon will probably win their remaining seven which means we have got to win 12 of ours to finish above them."

Sam Francis, Roy Pook, Glen Davies and Owen Hill are all doubtful while Ollie Rowland has been struggling with flu.

Dominic Shepherd, who has spent much of the season on loan at Shoreham, is in the squad after scoring twice in Monday's 4-0 win over Cove.
