A man has been charged with raping a woman in her room at a seafront hotel in Brighton.
William Steward, 24, unemployed and of no fixed address, is also accused on making threats to kill, false imprisonment and obstruction.
He was charged on Saturday night and was due to appear before Brighton and Hove magistrates today.
Police were called to the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Kings Road in the early hours of Friday, after a 24-year-old guest claimed she had been attacked.
