The Christmas lights will be switched on at Brighton's Churchill Square shopping centre tomorrow.
The stars of the panto The New Adventures Of Peter Pan, which is being staged at the Theatre Royal during the Christmas holiday, will start the countdown.
The cast will travel by bus to the centre at about 6pm.
Shoppers will be entertained by Southern FM's Danny Pike from 5pm until 7pm.
He will offer prizes from many of the centre's shops as well as tickets to see the panto.
