Former Horsham striker Germain Amanuel has been offered a trial at Third Division Macclesfield.
The 22-year-old, who is now at Redhill, has just returned from a trial with Scottish League Third Division outfit Hamilton Academicals.
Redhill boss Russell Mason said: "He is going up to Maccesfield in the next few weeks.
"He has been in Scotland with Hamilton. They liked the look of him but they are under pressure to sign somebody before the transfer deadline up there and they needed to see a bit more of Germain.
"They have said they will keep tabs on him."
Amanuel, who had a spell with Ringmer last season, has netted 14 goals for Redhill in the County League this year despite being sidelined for several weeks through injury.
Meanwhile, Redhill have signed Whyteleafe's former Dulwich first team goalkeeper Mike Lidbury as cover for Lee Preston.
