Jimmy White tackled Bexhill protege Jimmy Robertson over three frames at O'Sullivan's in Bexhill last Friday.
In the first frame White won 80-45 with breaks of 43 and 31, whilst Robertson's tally came in one scoring visit.
In the second frame Robertson, who is not 15 until May, knocked in a 25 but White responded with a 73 to win 80-30.
However, Robertson took the third frame 69-26 after knocking in a super break of 49.
